About Mindo
Mindo is a small town of about 3000 people. It is located in the northwest of Pichincha Province, 2 hours from Quito, by the new road, Calacali la Independencia. It is at 1224m. above sea level and the temperature is between 18 and 24 degrees centigrade. The annual precipitation is about 2500mm.
